WARNING: This documentary contains footage that may be sensitive to some viewers. images contain extreme violence and mature content. viewer discretion advised.Under Fire: Journalists in combat is a documentary written and directed by Martyn Burke in which he focuses on war correspondents, videographers and photographers who recount some of their most traumatizing moments from when they were (or are) reporting in wartime. And how these harrowing images still haunt them till this day. it's anamzingly bleak and haunting documentary on one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet. To understand the risks and dangers of the job. you should have a look at the CPJ (Commitee to Protect Journalists) who post up a yearly list of journalists who have died in wartime, or violent attacks since 1992. But i would first suggest watching the documentary before looking at the statistics. And comprehend the true implications and effects war has on journalists. highly recommended. And the warning on the top isn't a joke. i recommend going into this with full discretion. Me and Sol watched this together and we were both silenced in pure shock and horror about these recollections by veteran journalists. FULL DOCUMENTARY BELOW (Dailymotion, SD 480p)
